Humanitarian aid activities
Since its founding, GMC has provided emergency support to migrants in Korea and sustained humanitarian solidarity for conflict and disaster-affected people in Myanmar.
2012–2020
- Emergency living support for migrant workers — via counseling center and Gyeongnam Migrant Center
- Distributed resources totaling approximately 30,000,000 KRW
2021
- COVID-19 response: 180 masks distributed to community members
- Began channeling support to Myanmar following the military coup
2022
- 1 container of relief supplies sent to Myanmar
- Additional goods and financial support
2023
- Humanitarian support to Myanmar continued
2024
- Emergency relief for Rakhine (ရခိုင်) conflict-affected civilians — 121,657,606 KRW delivered
2025
- Emergency relief for Sagaing (စစ်ကိုင်း) conflict-affected civilians — 70,766,257 KRW delivered
2026 (planned)
- U Lay Gyi project: education and employment access for disabled youth (5,724,900 KRW)
- Launch of 5,000 campaigns
